Posted on May 24, 2010 | View CommentsGet down to their level! Direct eye contact can be as engaging in a photograph as it is in real life. Hold your camera at the subjects eye level. This is perfect for kids and pets! Even if they don't look directly into the camera, the angle its self will create an inviting and personal feeling. -

Posted on May 22, 2010 | View CommentsTaking a lot of pictures outside? Try setting your aperture to f/16 and your shutter speed corresponding to your ISO. For example, if your f/stop is at f/16, your shutter would be at 1/100 or 1/125 and your ISO at 100. If your ISO is set at 200 then your shutter would be at 1/200. -
